Charles Drew

*found that when plasma is separated, it can be transfused to any person regardless of blood type
*when separated blood cells and plasma are refridgerated, they last longer

Michael Faraday
*as a young child was fascinated with science and chemistry and became interested in electricity
*discovered electromagnetic rotation
*was able to liquefy chlorine, proving gas could be converted to a liquid
